When one of our massive, gentle Newfoundland therapy dogs visits a hospital, an hour rarely goes by before a nurse is seen on her knees, with her arms wrapped around the Newfie, crying. Just last week, a nurse kneeled in front of our Newfie Chewie, and as she held his face in her hands and gazed into his eyes, she said softly, 'You have no idea how much I needed you today.
